State Compensation Insurance Fund wants to provide workers’ comp coverage to its employers who have employees working outside of California. AB 228, authored by Felipe Fuentes (D-Arleta), hopes to make the coverage a reality. The proponents say it’s a much needed change that will provide options and flexibility for California employers in this tough business climate. Is it a good idea for its policy holders?
