Flash Report: ACIC No Longer Lobbying Workers Comp

The Association of California Insurance Companies is getting out of the workers comp lobbying business.The decision comes after all of ACIC workers comp carrier members pulled out of the organization. Their numbers had been dwindling during the last few years due to some insurance company failures as well as others deciding to go the solo lobbying route. The ACIC lost its last workers comp member - Majestic Insurance Co. - after the others, including Liberty Mutual, let their membershi
