California Workers’ Comp Return-To-Work Rates Improve

The number of injured workers returning to work in California increased 5.4 percent in the first half of 2005, following 2004's workers' comp reforms. Workers with elbow injuries had the highest return-to-work rates, while those with psychiatric or multiple injuries were far less likely to rejoin the workforce over a 12-month period. The new figures come in a report just issued by the Division of Workers' Compensation.
